Life is not the experiences we live, but what we choose to keep in our memory. Photography plays an integral role in this idea. A photograph of a given time creates a memory,  holds a surprise. Every person is a random sampling of humanity brought together in a space for a couple of hours. I live in a city where “life is like a John Cage score; dissonance made eloquent.”
