BASKIN - LAZIO.
Baskin is a team sport played by disabled and able-bodied people together. The term "baskin" is the union of "basketball" and "inclusive".
This sport originates from basketball and maintains the purpose of the game, which is to score more baskets than the opposing team. Each team is made up of both disabled and non-disabled players, each of whom is led to express himself to the maximum of his abilities together with his teammates.
Both people with mental disabilities, people with physical disabilities, and people without any kind of disability can participate. Even among the able-bodied there may be basketball players, sportsmen from other disciplines and people less accustomed to sports. The teams are also mixed in terms of gender and age. All this is possible thanks to an ingenious system of rules, designed to adapt to the players.
ROMIX - ROME
Romics is the International Festival of Comics, Animation, Cinema and Games, conceived in 2001 by Isi.Urb and Investimenti Spa which is held twice a year in Rome and which sees over 400,000 visitors a year. The event is organized by Fiera Roma Srl and Mens Nova Srl.
Four days of uninterrupted events, meetings and shows: a very rich program with over 100 presentations in 10 locations simultaneously: from comics to illustration, from fiction to cinema: all the news, the major publishing houses, comic shops, collectors, video games, gadgets and unmissable meetings with authors and publishers .
